Athenry Community Hall is on Clarke Street in the heart of Athenry Town, and is an ideal place for events and meetings. The Community Hall includes multiple meeting rooms, a kitchen, outdoor space, and a main hall. Each room has newly upgraded Audio/Visual capabilities, thanks to Galway County Council’s Local Enhancement Scheme 2025.
In the Hall, along with Audio/Visual capabilities and pull-down screen, there is an optional lifted stage, and a seating capacity of 250 which makes it ideal for large events.
The Community Council leases spaces to community and service groups at the lowest possible cost in order to support voluntary groups in Athenry. The community hall is available for hire for local community groups, businesses, and private events.
Rent the Hall
Rental pricing includes access to the kitchen, full toilet facilities, heating, electricity, and A/V equipment. Storage lockers may also be available for long-term bookings—please enquire with the Athenry Development Committee (ADC) for details.
The new pricing is as follows:

Block Booking Flat Rate Per Day: Main Hall pricing will be €20 per hour for the first 3 hours, and €10 per additional hour.
Block Booking Flat Rate per Day for Small Room 1 and 2: Small room pricing will be €15 per hour for the first 3 hours, and €5 per additional hour.
Block Booking Flat Rate per day for Hall and Small Rooms (Entire hall): €40 per hour for the first 3 hours, and €20 per additional hour.
